Axelrod Performance Chiropractic

Dr. Dan Axelrod is a dual-licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and Licensed Acupuncturist who blends an evidence-based chiropractic approach with the holistic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat both the body and mind.

 

Before moving to California, Dr. Axelrod had his own private practice in New York. During that time he worked with a broad spectrum of patients, including professional athletes in the NHL, NFL, WBA, MMA, and IFBB pros. In 2022, Dr. Axelrod was selected to treat the athletes at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Dr. Axelrod also served as an on-site contractor for Netflix film sets, providing care to the cast of the productions.

 

Dr. Axelrod's drive to provide the highest level of care is evidenced by his certifications in:

• FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation

• DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization)

• Acupuncture for Emotional Trauma, PTSD, CPTSD  (TCM Academy for Integrative Medicine)

 

Dr. Axelrod’s commitment to integrative care is deeply personal. As a competitive tennis player, boxer, and avid hiker he has faced his own share of injuries and understands the physical and mental challenges of recovery. Acupuncture and chiropractic have been essential tools in his own healing journey, and in shaping the way he practices today. Whether working with elite athletes or everyday movers, Dr. Axelrod delivers care that is rooted in experience, tradition, and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best.
